Driver Biography:
Lynton Jeffrey combines racing as a driver, with his skills as a manufacturer. The transplanted Australian has won multiple championships with his popular Vortex wings, including several with the World of Outlaws. After running in Australia, and across the United States, Lynton settled into a weekly routine in 2003 in the Midwest including weekly visits to Knoxville and the Huset’s Speedway (SD), where he won the track title in 2010.
Lynton, who scored 85 career wins in karting starting at the age of seven, moved into formulavees at age 16, and then recorded three wins in six midget starts at age 18 “Down Under”. Once he came stateside, he recorded his first quick time at Knoxville in 2002, and finished sixth in the World Challenge at the Nationals that season.
Lynton’s best year to date was 2006, when he finished fifth in the final point standings. An exclamation point for the year occurred with his first Knoxville win when he took the $5,000 to win Iowa Telecom Summer C
