Driver Biography:
The two-time and defending I-30 Speedway Short Track Nationals champion sets his sights on the big prize in 2010, the $60,000 Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters championship.
The 2005 Brodix Rookie of the Year returned to the National scene full-time in 2009 after a couple of years on the Outlaw trail, finishing out the season a solid eighth in points with the ultra-competitive Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series.
While Tony’s lone Lucas Oil score of the year was the $15,000 Short Track Nationals triumph in November, the Liberal, KS, shoe also picked off a Speedweek win at I-30 Speedway as well as September’s Nebraska Cup at Eagle Raceway.
No stranger to the ASCS scene, Tony's first full campaign of ASCS action came in 2004 when he ranked third in Sooner Region points while also mixing in enough National action to rank 12th and earn Newcomer of the Year honors.
